In the strategy of any business, communication with the client plays a fundamental role: it helps you to communicate important aspects of your activity such as news, promotions or changes in the agenda and regulations.

That’s why TIMP offers you different ways to communicate with your customers, and in this article we are going to talk about one in particular: the notification wall.
Once you get to know it better, you will want to use it again and again to get your voice to those people who are the reason for the existence of your business.

What is the wall?

The wall is the digital notice board of your business.
On it you can “hang” all the information you want your customers to know: notices (changes in session schedules, price changes, etc.), a general greeting for a holiday or promotions.

Once this information is published, your users will see it when they enter the booking application, in the News section, which is highlighted in the first place.
To give you an idea, its operation is similar to a publication in social networks, since you can accompany the informative text with an image or a video.

Benefits of using the wall in your center

The wall has a number of advantages over other communication options.
Below we explain what they are:

More visual communication

By having the possibility of adding an image or a video -for example, from a YouTube link-, your communication has a greater chance of attracting the attention of your users and generating a positive impact on them.
It is always more attractive to read any information if it is accompanied by visual content.
Keep this in mind when preparing your communications for maximum effectiveness.

Massive reach

By being placed on the “front page” when you access the app, all your customers with the app will see the information you have published as soon as they enter to manage their reservations.
This feature gives the wall full reach to your app users, who are usually the vast majority.
So, if you want all your users to know about a promotion, news or urgent announcement, the wall is the way to go.

Reinforcement by mail

Another great thing about this tool is that what you post on the TIMP notification wall can also be sent by email.
In this way, you can reinforce that communication through this channel.

Creating your first wall post

Posting on the wall is very easy.
From your control panel, go to the Wall section and click on the Create wall entry button.
A window with the following checkboxes will open:

Title

In it you will write what becomes the “subject” of your entry, that is, the name under which you will make it known.

Date of publication

Here you will select the day and time you want your post to be published on the wall.
In this way you can schedule your communication.

Publish in

If your business has more than one center, in this box you will be able to select in which centers and their corresponding reservation applications your entry will be published.

Content

This is the section to write the information you want to transmit.
Tips, warnings, promotions… your imagination rules!

Video / Image

Upload here the image you want to accompany your text or enter the URL of a YouTube video to make your post even more attractive.
Once you have completed all these sections, the last thing you have to do is to click on Save to publish it at that very moment.
If in Date of publication you indicated a day or time other than the current one, when you click on Save your publication will be programmed for automatic publication on the day and time entered.

Send your wall posts by e-mail

As we have explained before, you can reinforce the reach of what you post on the wall by sending it by e-mail as well.
The procedure is very simple: once you have published your post on the wall, you only have to select the option Send by e-mail to send it to all your customers with a verified e-mail address.
