Appointment with TIMP: key to de-escalation at your facility

With the reopening of centers comes the need to manage appointments.
Do it with TIMP.

We have been confined for several weeks now due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

With the new de-escalation of confinement process published by the Government of Spain, it is likely that your business will qualify and you will be able to return to business by appointment during Phase 1, which starts in the first half of May (you can consult this official publication for details of this de-escalation).

This means that any business that can reopen its doors and wants to do so with guarantees needs a system that allows its customers to book their appointment in advance, and the best way to do this with complete security and control is with a reservation system that automates the process.

How can I manage my customers’ appointments securely?

With TIMP it is very simple: from the control panel you assign a maximum number of seats per hour.
In this case, it is necessary to have one person per session, since the attention must be individual at all times during the de-escalation phase.

So, once you have defined how many people you can serve at any given time of the day, the rest is in TIMP’s hands : from the app your users will be able to book their appointments conveniently.

When there are no more vacancies, you will have to choose another time or day, as the application will indicate that it is not possible to book an appointment for the selected session.

In this case, the TIMP app also gives them the option to queue up: if a user cancels or changes their appointment, the free slot can be used by the people waiting in line.
TIMP will send them a notification to let them know that a slot has been freed up and they can take advantage of it.

In this way, you can be sure that you will not be booked for more appointments than you really need to attend and, above all, that no more people will be at your center than you are allowed.

As you can see, giving your users the possibility to book from the app is the best way to keep the situation under control and avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary risks to everyone’s health.

Do I still offer online appointments or is it no longer necessary?

This is an issue that many center managers are beginning to consider, as face-to-face sessions will gradually catch up.

Despite this, you should not lose sight of the fact that the process of returning to normality will be progressive and phased, and that it will take time before the capacity of the centers returns to what it was before.

For this reason, it is worth continuing to offer online sessions.
Consider that this is a part of the business that few centers offered before the confinement, and now online sessions are the main source of income for many of them: it is worth keeping them in your portfolio of services while you see how the situation evolves.

In addition, streaming class sessions or live consultations are constantly expanding, so they will surely end up being part of the business model of almost any company.
Why not yours too?

Get your customers used to consuming a part of your services online from now on, so that when you return to normality in a while this modality will be a plus for your invoicing.

Now you know: have full control of your center’s appointments and offer the booking app of TIMP for your customers to book securely and without overlapping appointments.

As always, our team is at your side to answer any questions you may have and to advise you on everything you need.
