Thepole dance adds followers every day that passes.
The keys to this success are to be found in the multiple benefits it brings to the people who practice it, ranging from improvements in physical fitness to personal growth in terms of self-esteem and self-confidence.
At TIMP we have found that pole dance centers using our softwareare on the rise, and that, as with other businesses, they are happy to digitize their daily work.
That’s why in this article we wanted to explore in detail what advantages TIMP brings to these centers, and for this we talked to the managers of RedPole Studio, who are already fans of the software.
Soon we will know his opinion about the program, but first let’s do a quick review of what is pole dance, in case you are one of the few people who still do not know the term.
Pole dance: what is it?
The pole dance is a dance discipline characterized by acrobatics full of sensuality around a metal bar.
It was born in some clubs and discotheques in the 80’s of the last century, and its benefits and attractiveness have caused its practice to expand beyond these premises, being considered by many as a sport.
Pole dance classes: an unstoppable growth
As a result of the success we told you about, dance pole classes have become more and more numerous.
Dance centers that include them in their offer of activities have multiplied and countless schools have emerged that are dedicated exclusively to teach pole dance classes.
Pole dance pole: the essential element
The pole dance pole is the fundamental element in any dance of this style, and the discipline takes its name from it (pole or pole = pole in English).
Without it this dance could not be performed, since as we mentioned at the beginning, the dancer performs the whole dance in contact with the bar, which is usually made of stainless steel.
Benefits of pole dance
The advantages of pole dance are very varied.
We already said it at the beginning: on the one hand, we have the amazing benefits of toning the core and the musculature in general, in addition to the physical dexterity it brings to its practitioners.
And no wonder, because in many cases the body is held attached to the bar only with the strength of one leg or arm.
On the other hand, those who practice pole dance manage to improve their self-esteem, self-confidence and eliminate stage fright.
The ability to exhibit the physical dexterity needed on the pole, coupled with the sensuality that this dance exudes, prepares you for a multitude of situations in life, especially those in which it is easy to feel judged.
Pole dance clothes: how to dress for pole dance?
The ideal pole dance clothes are those that allow you to be in close contact with the pole: since your balance and grip are key to avoid falling during the postures you perform, it is essential that the thighs, arms and often also the abdomen are in the air to improve adherence to the pole.
Therefore, a pair of short, tight-fitting pants and a top with a top and sleeveless top are ideal.
Pole dance classroom: what are the requirements for the room where you dance?
The pole dance classroom is usually a large room with several bars spaced far enough apart so that each dancer can move safely and comfortably around her own.
In addition, the height of the classroom is very important: usually exceeds two meters, and even three, so that the bar has the proper length to perform the dance properly.
The floor is made of parquet or floating platform and it is common to find mirrors on the walls, which facilitate the self-correction of postures by observing oneself in them.
