E-invoicing is now a reality: Verifactu arrives at TIMP

After a period of announcements and adaptation, the stipulated time for adaptation to the new regulations has arrived. All companies (from January 1, 2026) and self-employed (from July of the same year) will be required to standardize and digitize invoicing, using computer systems that comply with Verifactu requirements.

And, as always, TIMP will be adapted to this new reality. The program is integrated with a software approved and validated by the corresponding Tax Administrations for the fulfillment of the legal obligations derived from TicketBAI and Verifactu.

Therefore, all documents generated through TIMP and communicated electronically to the Tax Agency do so using approved software, guaranteeing the validity, integrity and traceability required by current regulations (RD 1007/2023 and TicketBAI regulations in the Basque Country).
