Featuring TIMP, Wodbuster, Aimharder, and Wodify compared with verified data.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>According to the 1st Annual Report of the Fitness Sector in Spain, boutique centers and training boxes already represent 17% of the country&#8217;s fitness facilities\u2014approximately 1,600 centers\u2014within a market that generates 3.235 billion euros and moves more than eight million users.<\/p>\n\n<p>Let\u2019s break it down: what the software needs to do and what each market option provides.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The seven things your box management software must solve<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>1. 24\/7 bookings with class capacity limits.<\/strong> Your clients decide when they want to train at eleven at night, not during your office hours. Every booking via WhatsApp is a message that someone has to read, confirm, and record. With self-booking and class capacity limits, that chain disappears.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2. Waiting lists that run themselves.<\/strong> This is where you notice the impact on revenue most, and it\u2019s the most important thing to check before signing. Ask specifically: when someone cancels, does the first person in line get in automatically and receive a notification, or does it have to be done manually? To put the problem in perspective, the 2026 ClassPass report places the average studio occupancy at 37% of its capacity.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>3. Recurring payments, class packs, and single sessions in one place.<\/strong> Allowing clients to pay from the same mobile app they use for booking reduces payment defaults without you having to chase anyone, and saves you the manual entry that later needs to be reconciled with your accountants.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>4. Workout tracking, personal bests, and rankings.<\/strong> This is where specialized software stands out from generalist options: Workout of the Day (WOD) programming, tracking personal bests, benchmarks, rankings, and, if it suits you, an on-screen leaderboard inside the box. Not all include this as standard; in several, it is a module with its own price tag.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>5. Access control.<\/strong> If you open at six-thirty or have open-gym slots between classes, the door is part of the management. Check if the software opens via app or code, if it integrates with turnstiles, and if that is included in your plan or billed separately.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>6. Two apps: one for your clients and another for your team.<\/strong> The first is obvious. The team app is often overlooked, yet it\u2019s the one that handles time tracking\u2014mandatory since Royal Decree-Law 8\/2019 for any company, even if you only have one employee\u2014as well as taking attendance without opening a laptop.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>7. Electronic invoicing adapted to Spain.<\/strong> Verifactu requires every invoice to carry an unalterable, traceable fingerprint sent to the Tax Agency. This applies throughout Spain except for the Basque Country, where TicketBAI governs. Following Royal Decree-Law 15\/2025, the current schedule is January 1, 2027, for corporations and July 1, 2027, for the rest of the self-employed and professionals. It is not mandatory yet, but the date is set. Here, the market offers three different responses: those who include it as standard, those who sell it as a separate module, and those who do not mention it on their website.<\/p>\n\n<p>To this, add an eighth point that is not a feature, but a consequence: data for decision-making. Which time slots are full, which membership performs best, and who has stopped coming. That last one is the most profitable data point, because the sector&#8217;s average retention is at 66.4% according to the 2025 HFA benchmarking, and detecting a drop in attendance in time is the only thing that gives you a margin before the cancellation becomes final.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comparison: what each software offers<\/h2>\n\n<p>Data consulted on the official websites of each provider and in public files and reviews, as of August 2026. Two applications (Bookings, for clients to book and pay from their mobile, and Express, for your team to take attendance, check the schedule, and log their workday). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics Dashboard and powerful CRM with automation and integrated WhatsApp Business. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public rates per center, not per user: from \u20ac50\/month for Starter to \u20ac170 for Premium, with discounts for semi-annual or annual payments and a free trial without needing to speak to sales first.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Memberships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access control. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Weak point:<\/strong> rankings are only available from the Pro Plan onwards or as a module.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wodbuster<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Pros:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24\/7 bookings with capacity and queue management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rates per center in tiers according to active users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Weak points:<\/strong> The program is split into several pieces with different billing models\u2014the app, the competition module, the sale of programming with payment commission. Verifactu invoicing is also contracted separately, with no published price. Therefore, the actual final price often varies more compared to the advertised plan price.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aimharder<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Pros:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tracking of personal bests for 1RM, 3RM, 5RM, and 10RM <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Memberships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Weak points:<\/strong> rates are not published\u2014confirmed by four independent directories\u2014nor is the number of centers using it, so you cannot compare without going through sales. There is also no public information certifying compatibility with Verifactu (or TicketBAI, which is striking for a company based in \u00c1lava). Automatic waiting lists and access control are not confirmed in any accessible source, and although their app&#8217;s average rating is high, written reviews are significantly lower, mentioning unexpected crashes and session issues.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wodify<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Pros:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Performance module with leaderboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Weak points:<\/strong> The entry plan is advertised at $99\/month per location (which is already high), but furthermore, performance tracking, the on-screen leaderboard, the custom-branded app, the website, and access control are separate paid modules: this is the most repeated complaint in their reviews. To make matters worse, Spanish is not among the declared languages of their app, support chat only covers 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Spanish time, SMS is limited to the United States and Canada, and there is no public information certifying Verifactu or TicketBAI.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to choose the software for your box or boutique fitness center<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Based on your size.<\/strong> If you have just opened or have fewer than fifty clients, prioritize price but with guarantees: knowing that you might not need turnstiles yet, but you might in the future. If you have more volume, think about which plan you will need (whether it&#8217;s paid per user, number of professionals, or otherwise) and remember that management software should be more than just a booking app; it should serve to scale the business and automate processes.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Based on how you sell your classes.<\/strong> If you work with a fixed monthly fee, almost any system will work for you.
